In a joint meeting in the presence of the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Umm Al Quwain Chamber HE Sultan Humaid Abdullah and Khalfan Ahmed Mesfer on Thursday morning, 29/8/2019 at the Chamber\’s. The delegation of Chinese businessmen and investors accompanied by some European businessmen, the two sides discussed the available investment fields and the possibility of The Chamber is to assist businessmen with respect to encouraging investment in the emirate in various fields of tourism, industry and technology. The delegation expressed its pleasure for this visit and discussed areas of cooperation between businessmen, especially in the field of developing trade exchange.

HE Khalfan Mesfer stressed the importance of these meetings and this joint cooperation between businessmen and the readiness of the Chamber to contribute to the development of joint trade exchange. Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry received on Sunday a delegation from Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director General of the Chamber. The visit aims to enhance mutual cooperation and learn about the best practices applied by both sides in serving the members and the business sector.

His Excellency Khalfan Mesfer, Vice Chairman of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the necessity of organizing such visits to expand cooperation and coordination horizons in order to achieve the desired goals and positively reflected on the business community in the country. The need to continue joint efforts and cooperation between the UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, in order to make the best use of the available investment opportunities and support the various business sectors and provide more incentives and facilities for the private sector and find radical solutions to any challenges facing businessmen and investors.

Umm Al Quwain Chamber hosted the second meeting of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association for the Development of the Franchise on Thursday, 13 June 2019. Headed by HE Mohamed Hilal Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Association.
His Excellency Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, Director General of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of the Association, welcomed the attendance and expressed his pleasure to hold the meeting in Umm Al Quwain.
The meeting reviewed the Association\’s previous resolutions of its 2018 session and its first meeting of 2019. The agenda of the Association\’s activities for seminars, workshops and training courses was discussed and the plan for developing the services and work of the Association was discussed. The Franchise Exhibition was also discussed and approved in conjunction with the second World Franchise Conference (2018) which will be held for the period 22-23 October in Abu Dhabi.
HE Al Muhairi thanked the Umm Al Quwain Chamber for hosting and preparing the meeting, stressing that the Association, which has been established at a federal level since 2014, is concerned with all aspects related to the development of the performance of the entrepreneurs. It is an umbrella for local companies interested in franchises, and marketing of youth products in various fields.
A luncheon was held in honor of the members of the Board of Directors, attended by HE Khalfan Ahmed Mesfer, Deputy Chairman of Umm Al Quwain Chamber and members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Abdulrahman Abdul Rahim Al Zarouni and Aisha Rashid Latim.

HE Mr. Saeed Bin Nasser Al Talai, Chairman of Umm Al Quwain Chamber received HE Nawal Aliyev, Commercial Representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, accompanied by Mr. Noor Shikorov, Senior Consultant, Commercial Office. Al-Talai welcomed the guest of the Azerbaijani embassy\’s commercial representative, stressing the keenness of the UAE and the Emirate of Umm Al-Qaiwain to develop joint relations with friendly countries in the field of trade, investment and tourism, affirming promising opportunities for investment and tourism in Umm Al Quwain.

HE Al Noor Aliyev thanked the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber for receiving him and discussing trade cooperation and encouraging investment between Azerbaijan and the UAE. He stressed that Azerbaijan has many fields for investment and commercial exchange between the two countries. The President of the Chamber welcomed the cooperation with the aim of developing the fields of joint investment and trade exchange between the two countries and working on developing meetings to develop the fields of investment and trade exchange.

At the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce, the Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Committee in Umm Al Quwain held its second regular session in 2018 under the chairmanship of HE Sultan Humaid Abdullah.
